Lisa Scheps, one of the founders of the social justice organization, took the role of Executive Director in 2010. Lisa has been an advocate for the gender diverse since she came out as transgender many years ago, having served on many national boards including the Nation Center for Transgender Equality (founding board member) and the International Foundation for Gender Education. In Texas, she has served on the board of Equality Texas as well as serving on TENT's board for six years.
